Colorado State Fair Demolition Derby - Great Fun!
Poor Veronica is rear ended at a stoplight the
day before her driving license test. (which she passed, BTW).
Though the damage does not look like much, the other car had
significant damage, it rode under the Forenza and lifted it up.

Mike business trip to New York and New
Providence, New Jersey. Managed to squeeze in side trips to
Long Island -
Coney Island and Manhattan. Coney Island really does not
feel like a family or tourist destination, but I wanted to check it
out, It is fairly run down. I also visited
the New York Aquarium,
which is small compared to most modern aquariums but worth checking
out if your in the area.

Peloso Birthday and High School Reunion Party.
Mike business trip to Dayton.
Matt graduates from Sand Creek High School!!!!!
Matt and dad go to
UCCS orientation, where dad get jealous and Matt sign's up for
his classes, we tour parts of campus and listen to various people
pontificate.

Matt's capping ceremony, where the Matt Graduation
picture to the right was taken.
Matt has his Senior Prom! Cough, missing
pictures right now...
Ameritowne Field Trip with Valerie. Pretty interesting, it
teaches multi-tasking and all the activities of running a business
very well.
Valerie, Veronica, Audrey and Mike attend the 2008
RMCGA Championship in Boulder, Colorado.
Veronica's old team places 4th, in a transition year where they moved up a
level. They definitively had the most entertaining show of the
competition. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's quite a
colorful spectacle to have all the teams on the floor at the same
time for the awards announcement.
Veronica performs in the Saint Mary's High School play
"Thoroughly Modern Millie". This is probably the most
ambitious production the school has tried in recent years, and they pull it
off flawlessly.
Veronica is inducted into the
Spanish National Honor
Society. She is also asked to join the
National Art Honor Society,
but declines as she will not be taking Art her Junior or Senior year.

Matt scores some free tickets to the the
Colorado Rapid's season opening
game at Dick's Sporting
Goods Park, so Valerie, Veronica, and Mike join him and watch the Rapids put a beating on the Los Angeles Galaxy
and David Beckham.
Valerie, Veronica, Audrey and Mike take a mini vacation
to Denver for Valerie's Birthday, staying at a 16th street mall hotel,
riding the horse carriage... Valerie has started making this an annual
tradition.

Veronica starts voice lessons.
Valerie, Josh, Veronica and Mike attend the
Walking with Dinosaurs show at
the World Arena. It was very
well done, but really aimed at the 12 and under crowd... but we enjoyed it.
